Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum with an unusual location and impressive architecture is located on the edge of a peninsula on the mighty Danube in Bratislava, city district āŒunovo, in the area of water sports. The museum of Modern Art is about 20 km from the centre of Bratislava.
In the great hall of the museum exhibition of world artists take place.
The permanent exhibition features works from the collection of Gerard Meulensteen, and from the collection of the Danubiana. Here you can see also examples of works of Sam Francis (representative of the second wave of American abstract painting), Christo and Jeanne Claude, Paul Jenkins, and Jill Moser or Oliver Herring.
